Serious crime in Roskovec; Armed perpetrator kills uncle and nephew, later surrenders to the police

Gramoz Kurtaj and Vladimir Kurtaj, uncle and nephew, lost their lives in a serious criminal incident this Tuesday in Roskovec in southwest Albania.

The victims are suspected to have been shot dead by 49-year-old Altin Kuka, who later surrendered to the police. The investigative team arrived at the scene to investigate the crime.
The officials said that a random conflict between the author’s son Altin Kuka and the two victims had happened the night before in the village, which is suspected to have caused Kuka to take revenge by executing Gramoz and Vladimir Kurtaj.
At the time of the crime, uncle and nephew were in a small bar in the center of the village, owned by them.
The police are collecting evidence from the scene and testimonies from family members and residents of the village.
