Police arrest protester who hit Albanian, Greek MEP with eggs and yogurt in Tirana

The prosecutor’s office announced today that the proceedings have started in a free state for the citizen D.N., 61 years old, resident in Tirana, who hit the former elected Albanian mayor, now a member of the European Parliament for a Greek party, with eggs and yogurt.

The suspect yesterday in front of the Presidency of the Assembly of Albania, hit the citizen F. B., a member of the European Parliament, with food products, as a form of protest.
The exact motives of the extreme protests have not yet been published, but the citizen in question is known as a solitary protester for social and political issues in the capital of Albania.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
