Former Albanian MP dies suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 44, journalist: He did not suffer from heart disease

The former PD deputy, Gert Bogdani, died today suddenly from a suspected heart attack while in a conference in Tirana.

Top Channel’s Alma Demiraj reported that doctors tried for about an hour to save Gert Bogdani today after he arrived unconscious at the QSUT hospital, but the former MP could not survive.
He did not suffer from previous cardiovascular problems.
“Former DP deputy Gert Bogdani, at around 11:30, was a conference in a hotel in Tirana. He suddenly fainted, then was transported to the emergency room of the hospital, but despite all the emergency efforts, he did not survive”.
“He came to the hospital in a serious condition, an effort was made to assist him with the medical equipment for about an hour, but it was impossible. It is learned that Gerti has had no prevvious cardiac problems, the current diagnosis is ‘cardiac respiratory arrest’. He didn’t suffer earlier, but everything was immediate,” reported journalist Alma Demiraj.
An autopsy is now expected, which hopefully will reveal the cause of the politician’s sudden cardiac arrest and death. The current diagnosis is cardiac respiratory arrest.
