Erdogan inaugurates grand mosque in Tirana: Let’s have a common stance on the barbaric attacks in Gaza

Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, called today from the Albanian capital upon the international community to intervene in the grave conflict in the Middle East, during the speech at the inauguration of the Namazgja mosque in Tirana.

“We must have responsibility and conscience towards Muslims”, said Erdogan, while adding that the states must keep a common attitude.
“We must not for a moment break away from the Islamic religion, from the religion of peace, and we must not leave the square, the field empty for all those groups or circles that nurture their own personal goals.
“So this is the duty of every Muslim who has awareness and conscience. The Namazgja Mosque is the mosque of our Muslim brothers with a pure heart and conscience.
“Turkey will continue to stand by all those who are in need, and at the same time, all greetings are conveyed from here to all the brothers who are present here today.
“My dear Albanian sisters and brothers. As you know, a year has passed since the beginning of the genocide which was started by Israel in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.
“There are 50 thousand of our innocent Palestinian brothers who have become martyrs, have been killed in Israel’s attacks, and over 100 thousand have been injured. Mosques, churches, schools, universities were bombed. The Israeli government continues its barbaric attacks on children, women, minors and the elderly in Palestine and now it has taken its barbaric offensive towards Lebanon.
“It is an obligation of morality, of our human conscience for all those who feel, have hearts, to stand against the state terrorism applied by Israel in Palestine”, Erdogan said, among other things.
