24 MPs of DP opposition expelled from the Assembly, Sula: The decision does not scare us to continue the battle
Democratic MP Dashnor Sula reacted today after the Secretariat of Ethics expelled 24 PD MPs following the disturbances on Monday in the Albanian Assembly.
In a post on the social network Facebook, Sula writes that this decision does not scare the democrats to continue the battle in the Parliament or in the streets.
The Democrat adds that the socialist majority is afraid to face the opposition, even after the one-month exclusion of the members of the Albanian Parliament.
“The socialist majority showed once again how much it fears the opposition by excluding its deputies from the Assembly for more than a month.
“This act proves that the majority is afraid to face the opposition, it is afraid when opposition lawmakers denounce their corrupt affairs and ties to organized crime.
“We are elected by the Albanian citizens and as such we will continue to convey their voice, since in the direction of this government they have been left in oblivion.
“This decision neither scares but encourages us to continue the battle in the Parliament and in the square, to return the rule of law and serve the citizens of the country.
“Now there are no surprises for us when the courts are controlled and a member of parliament is sentenced to 1 year in prison for something that did not happen, of course we know that this majority want to destroy us as soon as the opportunity comes, but they have miscalculated!”, says Sula.
